So here we are Danny and Dona, we live in Benfleet Essex with our two boys Teddy & Chace. Our eldest Lewis fled the nest a while ago but visits often.
Ice cream has always been part of our boys lives, having access to an ice cream van using it to their advantage on many occasions.
A little history on our company:
From the heat and smell of onions from our catering trailer to an ice cream trailer is where our company ‘Lewis Lee Ice cream’ was created 20 years ago.
Our business started in 1997 with a small catering trailer outside B&Q in Dartford Kent, after a few months of trading we stumbled on the idea of running our own mobile ice cream trailer.
We had secured a contract with our local Asda supermarket where we started trading outside the store.
From trading here for almost a year we realised we were very limited to where we could go. So after much discussion we purchased our first soft ice cream van and now several years on we are a small successful run family business covering all events!
